Stomach meridian
On the face, anterior to the angle of the mandible, in the depression at the anterior border of the masseter, where the pulsation of the facial artery is felt.
Habitual jaw clenching, tension of the chewing muscles, discomfort in the lower teeth, facial stiffness.
Gentle circular movements with the fingertip for 30-40 seconds, jaw relaxed and teeth apart.
The facial artery runs through this depression: avoid strong or prolonged pressure; if you feel a pulse under the finger, move a few millimetres backwards onto the muscle.
