On the head, at the centre of the mastoid process — at the junction of the lower one third and the upper two thirds of the curved line connecting Yifeng (SJ17) and Jiaosun (SJ20) along the helix.
Gently supports ringing in the ears and headache radiating behind the ear, as well as a generally overstimulated state.
With the pad of the index or middle finger make light circular strokes behind the ear for 30-60 seconds on each side.
The tissue layer over the bone here is thin and superficial vessels run through it — use light pressure only, never strong or prolonged.
