Small Intestine meridian
In the upper back region, at the level of the inferior border of the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra (C7 - the most prominent one when the head is bent forward), 2 B-cun lateral to the posterior median line.
Supports a stiff neck and shoulders and the cold, board-like feeling across the upper back after a draught or a slumped posture.
With the fingers of the opposite hand or with a helper: light pressure and small circles for 45-60 seconds on each side.
The apex of the lung lies beneath these muscles: do not press deeply - stay superficial and avoid abrupt movements.
