Anterior midline vessel (Conception Vessel)

Location

In the anterior region of the neck, on the anterior median line, in the depression superior to the upper border of the hyoid bone, above the thyroid cartilage (Adam's apple), in the hollow between the chin and the larynx. Easier to find with the head tilted slightly back.

What it helps with

Dryness and tickling in the throat, hoarseness after heavy voice use, tension in the muscles under the chin, discomfort on swallowing when anxious.

How to work on it

With the head tilted slightly back, make very light contact with the index finger pad strictly on the midline, with soft circles for 15-20 seconds; repeat 2-3 times with pauses, breathing calmly.

Caution

Front of the neck: very light touch only, strictly on the midline, without squeezing the throat and without moving to the sides where a pulse can be felt. Do not hold for long; stop at once if coughing, an urge to swallow or dizziness appears. With thyroid conditions or enlarged lymph nodes, use only after consulting a doctor.
