Anterior midline vessel (Conception Vessel)
On the anterior thoracic region, on the anterior median line, 1 cun below the centre of the suprasternal fossa, on the manubrium of the sternum.
Tightness at the base of the neck and high in the chest, a tickly throat, the urge to clear the throat.
Light downward pressure with the finger pad towards the sternal bone (not into the depth) for 20-30 seconds, then gentle rubbing for 30 seconds.
Upper chest near the jugular notch: do not press deeply and do not slip into the soft hollow above the sternum — stay superficial, on the bone.
