On the anterior thoracic region, on the anterior median line, at the level of the 1st intercostal space.
Tightness high in the chest, a tickly throat and slight cough, a sense of not filling the lungs during a cold.
Light rubbing of the sternum with the finger pad for 30-60 seconds, emphasising a calm out-breath.
Area over the lungs: do not press deeply — work superficially, on the sternal bone only.
