Anterior midline vessel (Conception Vessel)
On the anterior thoracic region, on the anterior median line, at the level of the 5th intercostal space, in the depression at the xiphisternal junction.
Tightness low in the chest, belching and a feeling of food sticking when swallowing, tension after emotional strain.
Rub the sternum up and down gently with the thumb pad for 30-60 seconds while breathing slowly and deeply.
Do not press deeply near the xiphoid process — work superficially, on the sternal bone only.
