On the upper abdomen, on the anterior median line, 3 cun above the centre of the umbilicus (midway between REN10 Xiawan and REN12 Zhongwan).
Heaviness and fullness in the epigastrium after eating, a sluggish appetite, slow digestion.
Soft clockwise circles with the finger pads for 1-2 minutes, breathing calmly; not on a full stomach.
Do not press deeply: a large vessel runs along the abdominal midline — if you feel a pulse under your fingers, ease off or move aside. Do not use the point with acute abdominal pain.
