On the anterolateral aspect of the arm, just lateral to the border of the biceps brachii muscle, 3 B-cun inferior to the anterior axillary fold. Classic landmark: let the arm hang and touch the upper arm with the tip of the nose - the point is where the nose meets the arm.

Gently supports a chest that feels tight and breathing that stays shallow, eases a heavy aching upper arm, and settles restlessness with a flushed feeling.

How to work on it

Cup the upper arm with the opposite hand and knead with the thumb at a comfortable pressure for 45-60 seconds; 2 rounds on each arm, breathing evenly.
