On the lateral aspect of the arm, on the line connecting LI11 with LI15, 3 B-cun superior to the cubital crease, at the lateral border of the biceps brachii muscle.
Gently releases tight upper-arm muscles and supports a feeling of heaviness or stiffness in the arm after prolonged effort.
Cup the upper arm with the opposite hand and knead the point gently with the pad of the thumb for 30-60 seconds on each side.
The radial nerve and the brachial vessels run nearby, and the classical texts advise against deep work here. Stay gentle and superficial: if you feel shooting, tingling or numbness in the arm, ease off and move a few millimetres away.
