In the upper abdomen, 5 B-cun superior to the centre of the umbilicus, 0.5 B-cun lateral to the anterior median line (level with REN13 Shangwan).
Discomfort below the sternum, belching, mild queasiness, a feeling of food sitting still.
Light pressure with the fingertip for 30-60 seconds on each side, breathing calmly.
Do not press deeply under the costal arch. During pregnancy it is better to avoid pressure on the abdomen.
