Throbbing pain in the temple, heaviness of the head, irritability towards evening.
Gentle circles for 30–45 seconds with slow, even breathing.
The temporal bone is thin and the superficial temporal artery runs just under the skin: use gentle pressure only, and shift half a centimetre if you feel a pulse under your finger.
