Location

In the posterior region of the neck, on the posterior median line, in the depression superior to the spinous process of the second cervical vertebra (C2), 0.5 cun above the posterior hairline.

What it helps with

Heaviness at the back of the head and tension in the upper neck after long screen work.

How to work on it

Very light fingertip pressure upward and inward for 15-20 seconds, 2-3 times, with the head relaxed and still.

Caution

The upper cervical vertebrae and brainstem structures lie beneath: light touch only, no deep pressure, jerking or tipping the head back. Do not use with neck injury, dizziness or cervical instability.
