On the back, level with the lower border of the spinous process of the 7th thoracic vertebra (the level of the inferior angles of the scapulae), 3 cun lateral to the posterior midline.
Hiccups and belching, a feeling of the diaphragm cramping, shallow breathing.
Rub with the palm until warm for 60-90 seconds while breathing into the belly.
